Passing the RES Exams
2020 has a tumultuous year for Singapore. The outbreak of COVID-19 resulted in a 2-month circuit-breaker in April and May. Singapore entered a recession in Q2, and we are in Phase 2 of the Post-Circuit-Breaker with no end in sight.
Contrary to expectations, Singapore’s real estate market showed no signs of slowing down. As you can see from this Straits Times article, Singapore private home prices rise by faster pace in Q3, defying the COVID-19 Recession!

You will need to pass the RES exams first!
Although the RES Exams have started once again, the examination hall sizes are smaller due to social distancing measures. The number of students attempting to take the RES exams has also increased, due to the pent up demand since the RES exams were halted at the start of 2020.

- There were 30,073 realtors in Singapore as at 1 Jan 2020. That is a 3% increase as compared to 2019
